A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

With an education in journalism/English and a background in broadcasting (eight years in the Dallas/Fort Worth radio market), I have over thirty years of writing experience. Thirteen of those years were spent in Nashville high school classrooms teaching English literature studies along with academic and creative writing. I have a deep abiding love for the written word and you can usually find me curled up with coffee and a good book.

I am proud of my Hawaiian heritage and enjoy traveling, good food, and spending time with my family.
I believe you can find inspiration from the stories that take place in daily life.
My goal is to be a mentor to writers of all ages who want to collaborate, craft, and share their stories.
